Toasted Pecans Ingredients

3/4 cup Sugar 1/4 teaspoon Cloves ground
1 teaspoon Cinnamon 1 Egg white
1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 tablespoon Water
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg 8 cups Pecan halves
1/4 cup Allspice

Instructions for Toasted Pecans

Combine sugar and all spices, water and the egg white in a bowl and mix well. Add pecans and stir until they are well coated. Spread in a lightly greased foil-lined jelly roll pan.

Bake at 275? for 50-55 min, stirring every 10 min.

Remove and cool. Store airtight or they will become stale quickly.
