Swedish Christmas Glogg Ingredients

3 cups vodka 1/2 tsp whole cloves
750 ml burgundy 2 sticks cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins 1 small piece lemon peel
11 /2cups sugar 3/4 cup slivered almonds
1 Tbs black cardamom seeds cheesecloth for spices

Instructions for Swedish Christmas Glogg

Pour half of vodka and all of the burgundy into a large saucepan. Add raisins and sugar. Tie spices in the cheesecloth and drop in. Cover pan, bring very slowly to boil, let simmer for 30 mins. Add remaining vodka and the almonds and serve
