Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Ingredients

1/2 cup Butter	1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Sugar	1/2 teaspoon Allspice ground
1 each Egg	3/4 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
5 Tablespons Milk	1/2 cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Vanilla	1/2 cup walnuts chopped
1 1/2 cup Flour sifted	1/2 cup Quaker Oats (not instant)
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions for Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Preheat oven to 375?.

Cream butter and sugar together in mixer. Add egg. Beat well.

Sift dry ingredients together.

Combine milk and vanilla.

Alternate adding dry and wet ingredients until well blended.

Add nuts, raisins, and oats. Beat gently until blended.

Drop 1" balls of dough onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375? for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges and top just begin to brown.
