Cool, Kool-aid Art Jars
100% would make this recipe for Cool, Kool-aid Art Jars again.
My son and his first grade classmates made these (with a little help from my daughter and I) at their Valentines Day class party. Topped with precut fabric they made a nice valentine gift for Mom! Each and every jar looked different. They make great gifts or just provide creative fun on a rainy day.

Several cans, different and colorful flavors of Kool-Aid
hotglue gun and glue sticks
Dry pudding mix or
cocoa
Instructions for Cool, Kool-aid Art Jars
How to make it:
Open the top of each Kool-Aid container and pour the pudding or cocoa into bowls so you can see all of the different colors.
Spoon the different colors of mix into the jar in the order that you desire.
Create a thin layer, a thick layer, tilt the jar for uneven layers, mix two together and create your own color.
Fill up the jar with all of the different colors.
Tips:
If your child is giving this as a gift to Grandma or Grandpa, cut a round of fabric approximately one inch bigger than the lid using pinking shears. Put hot glue around the edge of the lid and glue the fabric onto the lid.
For the very young and curious, it is wise to glue the lid onto the jar. Who needs kool-aid all over the carpet!
For older children use bottles with a cork stopper and use a small funnel or large frosting tip to pour the mixes into the bottle. Don't forget to glue the cork into the bottle.
