Ingredients
- 6 ounce Uncooked ziti
- 2 cups Marinara Sauce such as Classico or home made basic marinara
- 1 cup (4 oz) Shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (1 oz) Shredded assagio cheese
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Hot pepper sauce such as Tobasco
- 6 oz Turkey Italian Sausage mild or hot - depending on your taste
- Cooking spray
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350?
2. Cook pasta according to package instructions, omitting salt and fat. Drain.
3. Combine pasta, marinara sauce, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 2 Tbsp assagion, salt, pepper sauce and turkey sausage in a large bowl. Spoon into an 8 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarrella and 2 tbsp assagio. Bake at 250? for 30 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
