Beef Stroganoff Ingredients
1 pound Rump
steak
s
2 tablespoon
Olive oil
8 ounce Soured
cream
1 1/2 cup
Mushrooms
fresh, sliced
2 tablespoon Plain
flour
1/2 cup
Onion
chopped
1/2 cup Water
1 clove
Garlic
minced
1 Beef
stock
cube
Instructions for Beef Stroganoff
Trim fat from the beef, thinly slice across the grain into bite-size strips. In a small mixing bowl stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in water, stock cube, and pepper. Set aside.
In a large skillet cook and stir half teh beef in olive oil for 2 - 3 minutes, or to desired doneness. Remove from teh skillet. Add remaining meat and cook. Remove from the skillet. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook until soft and starting to brown. ADd the beef back into the skillet.
Stir the flour mixture into the skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Season to taste.
Serve over hot cooked noodles or over a jacket potato.
