Spider Toffees Wands Ingredients
Coloured popsicle sticks
Chocolate
freckles
1 cup Castor
sugar
Lico
rice
cut into small strips\
Instructions for Spider Toffees Wands
1. Draw web outlines about 10cm wide on two sheets of baking paper. Place on large baking trays ink side down. Place coloured popsicle sticks at the base of each web.
2. Stir 1 cup caster sugar in 1/2 cup water in a saucepan over a low heat until dissolves. Increase the heat to high and boil, without stirring for 5-8 minutes or until light golden. Remove from the heat. Let the bubbles to subside.
3. Drizzle around the edges of your web and over each stick, then randomly drizzle inside the web to make patterns. Press a freckle on each web into the toffee and add strips of licorice each side to make legs. Set aside to set.
