1. Gently soften the onion in the butter. Stir in the cabbage and 1 tablespoon dill, then pour in the chicken stock.
2. Cook, half-covered, over a brisk heat for 10-15 minutes or until the cabbage is cooked. Stir in the sour cream and gently heat through.
3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the remaining dill.
Serve with thick slices of dark rye bread.
