Ginger Glazed Fruit Ingredients

3 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot
Dash salt6 cups cut-up fresh fruit (cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple, bananas, apples, etc.)
1/2 cup apple juice

Instructions for Ginger Glazed Fruit

In a 2 quart casserole, combine sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg. Cook at High 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until sugar is melted; stir in nuts. Cook at High 3 minutes, or until syrup begins to harden. Immediately pour nut mixture onto a well greased cookie sheet. Spread thin. Cool; break into small pieces.
