Western Nc Pulled Pork Bbq Sauce Ingredients

1 cup Ketchup 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 cup Water 2 tablespoon Molasses
1/4 cup Cider vinegar 2 tablespoon Dry mustard
1 ea Onion finely diced1 teaspoon Cayenne
3 cloves Garlic crushed

Instructions for Western Nc Pulled Pork Bbq Sauce

Mix all together and simmer for 20 minutes.

Our notes: First made 4/16/08. The result was still chunky, so I chose to strain it through a mesh sieve. The thin sauce was spicy and very good on pulled pork. Next time, I might try the "boat motor" in the sauce to blend instead of straining, but it was great strained too.

This is an outstanding recipe. I adjusted it by cutting the cayenne pepper in half. I also put the sauce in the blender. Easy to do and recommended.
