Many years back, about 26, I worked at The Frosty Jug. A car hop restaurant in Dickson, Tennessee. It's gone now. But I was a cook there. I came up with this & Mable Crutis put it on the menu. It was a big hit, could not make them fast enough.

Squirrel's Dorito Taco Salad Ingredients

2 pound Hamburger	1 head Iceberg lettuce chopped
2 pk. Taco seasoning	2 Onion chopped
12 ounces Cheddar cheese shreaded	1 1 16 oz bottle Taco sauce
2 can (64 oz) Chili with beans (I use homemade)	4 Tomatoes diced
1 bag Doritos	24 ounces Sour cream

Instructions for Squirrel's Dorito Taco Salad

Brown meat add seasoning follow package directions.
Heat up chilie on stove or microwave.
Let every body grab a plate to build thier own salad.
Start with chips, lettuce, meat, chilie, onions, tomatoes, sauce, sour cream, then cheese. Can make as big or small as each wants.
