"Very basic" creamy garlic pasta with veg - Probably for beginners:-)
Get pasta started as per preferred cooking method.
Chuck the veggies into a steamer to soften.
FOR SAUCE:
Over low-medium heat, combine Olive oil and butter in a medium/large saucepan. When butter is melted add garlic, parmesan & about ? teaspoon of basil or more to taste. Stir for about 2 minutes to release the garlic juices. Stir in cream and simmer until heated and mixed through. Add vegies and continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Optionally add sundried tomatoes and or bacon/ham.
Poor over cooked pasta and garnish with some fresh parsley.
You are probably looking at this recipe and laughing to yourself, but I wanted to let you know that I'm just starting out guys so don?t be too harsh on me Cheers:-)
