Brown meat and in skillet in a little olive oil or butter. Add meat, parsnips, potatoes, and onion to slow cooker. Stir in soup, broth and herbs. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or high 4- 4 1/2 hours. Turn heat to high, add green beans and cook for about 20 minutes more, just until beans are tender. Serve over bisquits, dumplings or noodles.
