Caramelized Black Pepper Chicken and Sausage with Green Beans Ingredients

1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1 tablespoon canola oil
1/4 cup Fish sauce 1 medium shallot thinly sliced
1/4 cup water 2 large Boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes
3 tablespoons rice vinegar 4 cilantro sprigs
1 teaspoon Garlic minced2 medium Sausages thai flavored if possible
1 teaspoon Ginger grated1 medium Red bell pepper julienned
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 1/2 pound Green Beans cut into 1 inch pieces, blanched
1 small Serrano chili minced

Instructions for Caramelized Black Pepper Chicken and Sausage with Green Beans

In a small bowl, combine the sugar, fish sauce, water, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, pepper and chiles.

2. Heat the oil in a large deep skillet. Add the sausage and cook over moderate heat until browned on both sides.
Add the shallot and cook until softened. Add the fish sauce mixture and the chicken and simmer over high heat for 5 minutes. Add the beans and peppers and cook for 5 more minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with the cilantro and sesame seeds.
