Not to worry, Amarante. No need for food processors or anything electric of any kind. Just shred your zucchini using a standard manual cheese grater. As far as the size of the pieces, it will look sort of like that pre-packaged shredded mozzarella cheese you see in stores. Mix that with your oil, follow the rest of the steps and voila, you've got yourself one of the best (and secretly healthiest) chocolate cakes you'll ever put in your mouth...promise! :-)

I don't get it. This sounds great but I'm confused about the grated zucchini. How fine does it have to be? Your instructions don't say anything about a food processor and the picture doesn't show the pieces of zucchini. The directions are a little fuzzy for me so I wouldn't attempt this but I would like to so maybe you could clarify.

This was delicious! Who would have thought!! Zucchini in chocolate cake! It was moist & my kids ate it up! I loved knowing they were eating a veggie in it! :-) I used Cream Cheese icing on it. Can't wait to make it again!

I will make this again. Great way to hide veggies for picky eaters. Doesn't freeze well.
