If you ever lived in Hawaii during the 80s you'd probably heard of Chicken Alice and her famous Kim Chee Chicken wings... addicting and very tasty! When she closed down, she released her secret recipe. Here it is. ***this is not my personal recipe, I just wanted to pass it on, Thanks Chicken Alice!***
Combine Kim Chee sauce, garlic, salt and flour. Add water gradually, to make a thick batter, about the consitency of pancake batter.
Add chicken pieces to batter, mix well and marinate in refregerator overnight.
Heat oil to 350 degrees. Deep-fry chicken pieces until chicken rises to surface and coating is deep brown. It's important to keep the oil at this temperature in order to assure the perfect crisp coating.
* add more or less garlic, salt, water to your taste (i.e. 1 to 3 tbsp minced garlic, salt, etc. equals "bland to tasty").
