Ingredients
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 1 8 oz. can whole water chestnuts; drained
- 1 1 8 oz. can unsweetened pineapple chunks; drained
- 1 1 10 oz. jar sweet-and-sour sauce
Preparation
Cut each bacon strip in half width-wise. Wrap a strip around each chestnut or pineapple chunk; secure with toothpicks. Place in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
Pour sweet-and-sour sauce into a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with appetizers.
