My Mom made this all growing up and it is a major comfort food in my house!

Ingredients


Preparation

Brown ground beef, seasoning to taste. Spread on bottom of casserole pan. Top with creamed corn, the spread mashed potatoes over. Bake in a 350 degree until bubbling and top is browning at the ridges.

Great taste and easy. I also added some worstershire. Used simply potatos also. Its really hard to find a relly good sheppards pie recipe. This is it.

It makes a LOT! Hope you're hungry. It didn't compute when it said 8 servings. I seasoned the ground beef with a little Worcestershire, added a few raw onions in a layer and turned it into two casseroles. One with the creamed corn and one with mixed vegetables. Both were good. Corn was best. Also used Betty Crocker garlic butter instant mashed potatoes. It seemed to take a long time to brown and bubble. I think our oven is pretty accurate. Maybe next time I'll turn it up to 375 vice 350. Next time I'll serve it with a salad.

This can be made to suit anyone just by changing the flavor of the ground beef and the mashed potatoes
