Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pureed fresh peaches
  • 2 cups fresh sliced peaches
  • 9 -inch prebaked pie shell
  • 1 Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water, salt and pureed peaches. Cook in saucepan until thickened. Cool. Arrange peach slices in prebaked pie shell. Pour cool custard over top. Chill. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
