Creamy Fruit Salad with Basil

Ingredients

  • 1 ΒΌ Cup Half-And-Half
  • 2 TB White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 TB Sugar
  • 1 Sprinkle Salt
  • 4 peeled Kiwifruits each cut into 6 wedges
  • 2 cups quartered Strawberries (about 1 pint)
  • 2 TB finely chopped Fresh Basil
  • 1 cup Slivered Almonds or any other (candied) nuts for sprinkling

- optional: Ice Cream/Gelato, Fresh Cream, or Cake


Preparation

1. Mix together the first four ingredients with fork/ whisk in a large bowl.

2. Add fruit and toss well.

3. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.

4. Stir in basil just before serving.

5. Sprinkle the top of each serving with nuts and garnish with any remaining basil leaves.
