Ingredients
- 3 unbaked pie shells
- 12 oz. pecan halves
- 2 cups liquid egg product
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup liquid margarine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 cups karo light corn syrup
- 1 (1 bag hersheys chocolate chips for a chocolate p
Preparation
1.)preheat oven to 275 degrees F
2.)Place four ounces pecans into each pie shell, distribute evenly (3 oz chocolate chips for each pie in chocolate pecan, chips should be under the pecans)
3.)Mix egg product, sugar, margarine, salt, and corn syrup in a large mixing bowl with a wire wisk until mixture is uniform
4.) Pour approx. 1 LB 5 oz. mixture into each pie shell keeping the pecans even
(5. place 3 Table spoons of chocolate chips onto the top of each pie in chocolate pecan)
6.) Bake at 275 F for 60 minutes or until done
