Party Piggies

We love these to snack on, and I'm making some today for Super Bowl snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 16 ounce Bryan Cocktail Smokies smoked sausage
  • 2 8 ounce Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • grated or sliced American or cheddar cheese as required
  • dipping sauce if desired

Preparation

Unroll crescent rolls, and slice into strips. Place one smoked sausage and a little cheese, if desired, into the middle of the strip of crescent dough. Roll it up, and mash to secure. Place seem side down on a baking sheet. Continue this process until all of the dough and smokies are gone. Heat oven to 375 degrees, and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown. Transfer the piggies to a service dish.
