Clam Chowder

This a great Clam Chowder, still needs adjustments to make it perfect, but still comes out great. Far better than anything store bought. Will be better the next day.

Ingredients


Preparation

1. Cut up bacon into small pieces.

2. In large saucepan on low heat, fry the bacon until crisp.

3. Add in onion and garlic, saute until onion is transparent.

4. Peel and Cube potatoes, add to kettle.

5. Stir in clam juice, chicken broth, potatoes, and spices.

6. Cover with lid, bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer until potatoes are tender. Should be around 15 minutes.

7. Pour in Clams.

8. Whisk Flour and Milk until smooth. Slowly stir into chowder, continuously stirring as to not allow mixture to stick. This will thicken the chowder.

9. Stirring Frequently, let the chowder simmer for a few more minutes.
