Great cutout cookie with slight almond flavor. These cookies are a bit of a chore but always a big hit
Cream sugar, butter and cream chesse until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract. Mix in seperate bowl flour and baking powder, add gradually to butter mixture. Pour out onto cling wrap and chill in frig for 30 minutes. This will make rolling out easier. Role out to 1/8 inch thick (not a thick cookie). Cut will cookie cutters. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Frosting:
Beat together powder sugar, butter, milk and almond extract. Add milk until you think its the consistency of icing.
