Cut chicken in quarters. Half onions, Peel turnips, carrots, parsnip and cut into large pieces.Cut Celery into large pieces. Add all ingredients to pot, cover with water and broth. (Tip) Tie the herbs with unwaxed dental floss. It is easlier to remove later. Cover to boil and simmer. Remove everything. Add some chicken and cut slices of carrots to broth. Add a pinch of saffron.
