Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups water (110 degrees F)
- 1 1/4 ounces Yeast (Do not use the quick rising in this recipe)
- 2 cups Unsalted butter melted
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 16 cups flour
Preparation
1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, water, yeast, let sit for about 5 - 10 minutes , or till frothy.
2. Slowly add in butter, egg, and salt, mix well preferrably with a dough hook.
3. Add flour, 1 cup at a time and beat in as much as you can.
4. Place in a greased bowl, cover with saram wrap and let rise ( double in size).
5Grease a 13x9 baking pan.
6Turn dough out onto floured surface.
7Divide into equal pieces.
8Roll each piece into a smooth round ball.
9Place in rows in prepared pan.
10Cover and let rise for 1 hour; until doubled.
11Heat oven to 375*.
12Bake until golden brown, about 17 minutes, internal temp is 195 degrees
