Ingredients
- 5 pounds Chuck roast cut to fit
- 2 cans French Onion Soup
- 16 ounces Beer (Killian Red)
- 2 ounces Whiskey (Jack Daniels)
- 2 Beef bouillon cubes
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder or Cloves
- 1 tbsp Onion Flakes
- 12 Baby Potatoes
- 1 -2 Pkg(s) Baby Carrots
Preparation
Braise roast in 400 F. oven for one hour.
SMOKED: Wrap Roast & Marinade in Aluminum Foil. Place in Smoker at 225 degrees. Placed water soaked hickory chips around the outside edges of roast
Introduce baby potatoes and carrots after 2 1/2 hours. Smoke for 1 1/2 hours and check roast. Cook the remaining 1 hour if needed.
CROCK POT: Add all ingredients together with roast in crock pot. Stir a bit and simmer 4-5 hours on high.
