Make 1/2 of popcorn at a time. (3/8 cup)
Sort out unpopped kernels and put in oil sprayed bowl.
When all is popcorn is popped, sprinkle nuts over popcorn.
Heat margarine, sugar, corn syrup, crème of tartar until it begins to boil.
Should take 5 minutes and be at soft ball stage.
Take off heat, add vanilla, soda – mix until foamy.
Pour over popcorn and nuts, mix well, spread on wax paper.
