Ingredients
- 1 bag of frozen or fresh sprouts
- 1 1 15-20 small Pearl Onions
- 1 cup Beef Broth May need a little bit more broth depending on size of sprouts
- 0.5 stick butter
- 0.5 stick margarine
- 5 cloves Garlic Very finely chopped
Preparation
Melt butter and margarine in a 12 inch skillet and saute garlic and onions. Once the garlic and onions are slightly caramelized add Brussels Sprouts and slowly pour in the beef broth. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes or until the broth and butter has reduced to a very thick sauce and the brussels sprouts start to carmelize. When serving pour left over sauce over Brussels sprouts.
