Ingredients
- 1 can of Sliced Beets(Drained Liq. reserved)
- 1 small Onion very thinly sliced
- 2 Tbs. Artificial Sweetener
- 0.25 cup Cider Vinegar
- 0.5 teaspoon cloves
Preparation
Layer beets and onions in a heat proof bowl. In a small sauce pan bring the reserved beet liquid, vinegar, sweetener and cloves to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute. Pour hot liquid over beets and onions, cover and let flavors develop for an hour. Serve
