Ingredients
Preparation
1. Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil, about a foot longer than the ribs, and wide enough to fold up and around the ribs.
2. Make the dry rub and sprinkle some on the dull side of the aluminum foil. Place the ribs on the foil, rounded side up, and pat the rest of the rub into the ribs.
3. Wrap up the foil around the ribs and roll up the sides to secure. Marinate the ribs overnight in the fridge.
4. When ready to begin cooking the ribs, prepare the braising liquid then microwave for one minute.
5. Place the ribs, still wrapped in foil, into a slow cooker. Open up the foil just enough to pour in the braising liquid, then reseal. Cook in the slow cooker (crock pot) for 6 - 8 hours on low.
6. Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and pour the braising liquid into a sauce pot. Reduce the liquid by 1/2 to make the rib glaze.
7. Brush the glaze liberally on the ribs and place under broiler or on a hot grill just until the glaze caramelizes (5-10 mins).
8. Serve warm with grilled veggies and corn on the cob!
