Ingredients
- 1 pt heavy whipping cream
- 4 eggs
- 1 salt & pepper
- 1 nutmeg and sherry optional
- 4 can crabmeat drained or spinach or shrimp or bacon
- 1 deep dish frozen pie shell or 2 shallow
- 6 oz Swiss cheese sliced thin
Preparation
Thaw pie crust, prick with fork and bake at 450º for 5 min. turn temp down to 350º
Place meat on bottom of piecrust and cover with cheese.
Beat cream, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg and sherry together with fork.
Pour over egg mixture.
Dot with butter.
Bake 350º for 40-50 minutes (might need to shield edges with foil so they don’t burn
