Ingredients
- 2 packages of yeast 4 1/2 t
- 2 c warm water
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c sugar (can increase to 1/2 cup)
- 1/4 c corn oil (can increase to 1/2 cup)
- 2 t salt
- 6 c flour
Preparation
Put yeast and pinch of sugar in the 2 cups of water in mixer with dough hook (leave rest until it foams-10 minutes). Mix eggs, sugar and oil, add to mixer. Add flour slowly cup by cup as mixer is running around 6 cups. Mix until it clumps around the hook and looks mixed well. 5-10 minutes Add flour to help clean the bowl and remove the dough. Use spatula to get dough off the hook into a large plastic greased bowl, let rise 2-4 hours it will rise more than double. Pull away from sides of the bowl with spatula and dough will deflate. Take dough with floured hands and make a long rope. Do not over work dough. Cut small pieces for dinner rolls (ping pong ball) or larger chunks (tennis ball) for sandwich rolls. Put in a greased (spray with oil) baking sheet with sides. The large rolls will fill a large baking sheet. Cover lightly with thin towel or with greased saran wrap (not to heavy). Let Rise again( put in sun) until the rise and get round again. 1 hour. Bake 350 25 -30 minutes in center of oven. Spray with squirt butter.
