Fruited Vinegars

Make fruited vinegar with rasberries, peaches, figs, plums, or any kind of berries. Frozen berries may also be used. You can double this recipe.

Ingredients


Preparation

In a 1-quart saucepan, warm the vinegar and berries together over medium heat, mashing the berries with a small whisk.

Remove from the heat and let stand for 30 minutes.

Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing down on the berries.

Keep refrigerated and use within several days.
