Ingredients
- 1 package Costco baby back ribs as required
- 1 package Brown sugar as required
- 1 container Grill mates pork rub as required
- 1 container Basil as required
- 1 container Italian seasoning as required
- 1 bottle Stubbs mild or spicey bbq sauce as required
- 1 bottle Jack daniels bbq sauce as required
Preparation
ok, now before I begin, costco is a store by me and im not sure if everyone has a costco , you can buy them at bj's . they come in a large pack of 2-3 full racks. and if you preer them spicey just pick up the stubbs hot bbq sauce.
take your full racks of baby backs and lay them out on large cookie tin meat side up. DO NOT CUT OR PUNCTURE YOUR RIBS!!!!
take your grill mates pork rub and generously cover and rub into ribs.
take a small brush and pour your stubbs over ribs brushing evenly to cover every bit of your racks
sprinkle your italian seasoning over racks
take your jack daniels bbq sauce and cover racks just like with stubbs brushing to cover
take your brown sugar and sprinkle generously over ribs
please do it in this order, there is a retarded reason or it but it works lol
you can let your ribs marinate for a day if preferred but i never do
heat oven to 225
put your ribs in oven for about 1-1/2 hours, you can tell when they are almost done but no shorter than 1-1/2 hours
take ribs when done out of oven and coat with jack daniels bbq sauce again, only the JD sauce!
bring your racks out to your grill and cook on medium until you see them meat pulling back off bone, do not burn them, a little black on the edges is normal
when done let them sit for about 10 min, cut and serve!!!! Enjoy
