This baked beans recipe can almost be a complete meal. The best part is you use a variety of canned beans. Once you've had this, you won't eat "just plain baked beans" and you won't just make it for the summer. A great compliment to baked ham!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Peel and dice onion, set aside; cut bacon in thin strips width-wise. In a nonstick skillet, add bacon and onion and saute' together; add ground beef and brown. Once first three ingredients are browned, add sugars, ketchup and mustard, stir to mix. Drain butter and kidney beans, add to ground beef mixture, then add undrained pork and beans, mix well. Pour everything into a baking pan large enough to accomodate the mixture and bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until bubbly. Remove from heat and serve.
