Clean and remove stems from grapes and place in 9 x 13 casserole dish OR deep bowl. In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, granulated sugar and vanilla extract. It may be tough to stir manually, you can use an electric beater. Mix until mostly smooth, a few lumps are fine. When mixed, pour mixture over grapes and toss. Sprinkle brown sugar and pecans for topping until coated thoroughly. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
