Ingredients


Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degF

If you want a crispy crust, put the cast iron pan in the oven with 1 tablespoon bacon grease now. Get it almost smoking hot before pouring in the batter.

Melt butter. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs and mix well. Combine buttermilk & baking soda - stir in to butter/sugar/eggs mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well.

Bake 30-40 minutes
