Cubano sandwich with bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon extravirgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 4 hawaiian rolls halved
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 8 slices swiss
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro minced
  • 6 ounces ham thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces turkey thinly sliced

Preparation

Combine oil and garlic

spread mustard on both sides of roll.

On bottom, place 1 slice cheese, 2 pieces bacon, 3 pickle slices, 1/2 teaspoon cilantro. Add ham, turkey, top with another slice of cheese.

Brush outside of buns evenly top & bottom with garlic oil.

Cook ~3 minutes each side in a frying pan (panini maker if you have it)
