1. Heat olive oil in a 5 qt pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the dried pasta and stir frequently until golden brown (about 5-9 minutes).
3. Add 1 cup of hot chicken stock and cook down. Continue adding stock 1 cup at a time until you have used 4 cups.
4. Add the last cup of stock and tomatoes. Cook until dry.
5. Add cream and butter and cook down.
6. Add basil, salt, pepper, and cheese.
Serve hot.
