Ingredients
- 1 lg. can Crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 can (12 oz) Cherry pie filling
- 1 package Yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 sticks Margarine
- 1 cup Chopped nuts optional
Preparation
Spray a 13x9 pan with nonstick spray. Mix pineapple and cherries in the bottom of pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Melt margarine and pour over mix. Top with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Note: I''ve reduced the margarine from 1-1/2 to 1 stick without much problem. This is a great potluck dessert, also wonderful with vanilla ice cream.
