Preparation

In casserole dish, combine water, rice, and soup mix. Let stand while you saute sausage. Drain fat and add sausage to rice mix. Add other ingredients. Bake at 350 for 1 to 1-1/2 hour, stirring once or twice. If using brown rice, increase cooking time to 2 hours!
