One Bowl Brownies

Preparation

Put oil in bowl. Stir in cocoa, eggs, sugar, karo and vanilla. Add baking powder, salt, and flour. Mix just until thoroughly combined. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. If a glass pan is used, bake at 325-350 degrees depending on your oven. They are chewier if not overbeaten or overbaked.

These came from my BSF friend, Margaret Smith of Dallas. She helped train me to be a substitute teaching leader. She and her husband taught the Dallas young adults class together.
