Sausage Cassoulet for Everyday

A French been and polish sausage stew that is perfect for the slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Polish Sausage - cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 can great northern beans; 15 oz - rinsed and drained
  • 1 can dark or light red kidney; 15 oz - rinsed and drai
  • 1 can black beans; 15 oz - rinsed and drained
  • 1 can Italian Stewed Tomatoes - 15 oz
  • 3 medium carrots thinly sliced - about 1 1/2 cups
  • 2 small yellow onions chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic - finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 dried thyme leaves

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in slow cooker

Cook on high for 2 hours

Then cook on low for 30 minutes
