A traditional jewish recipe and a must have for every shabat :).
Mix warm water with yeast
Stir in egg yolks and honey
Mix in sugar and salt
Stir in olive oil
Slowly knead in bread flour (extra may be needed if to sticky)
Let rise in oven ,with the light on and covered with a damp cloth, for about an hour or until doubled in size
Break into 12 equal parts (six for each loaf)
Roll each dough ball out flat then roll them up like taquito.
Roll your "taquitos" starting with your palms then to the tips of you fingers until in a super long football shape (thicker in the middle than the edges)
Mush the end of six of your footballs together than braid-take the 2nd to the far left one and move all the way to the right and take the far left one and put it in the middle. Do the same with the right but to the left. Repeat until no more room to braid.
Smush the ends together and push under your loaf on both sides.
Repeat for other six dough balls.
Put both loaves on two separate sheets and with a pastry brush, brush on egg yolks.
Let rise in oven with the light on until doubled in size again.
Then cook them at 350 until golden brown
