Instructions for Apple Dumplings - Cock N Bull Part 1 of 2
Mix cinnamon & sugar together in a small bowl. Combine egg with 2 tbsp. water. Place an apple in the center of each pie dough square. Fill the center of each apple with 2 tbsp. of cinnamon sugar. Wrap the pie crust squares around each apple, use some of the beaten egg to help secure the dough corners at the top. Place the apples in a pan large enough to hold them 1" apart. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 25 minutes or until apples are soft. Cool to warm, top each apple with 1/4 cup of vanilla sauce and serve immediately. Courtesy of the "Cock n Bull" Posted to MC-Recipe Digest V1 #851 by Bill Webster
