Applesauce Chocolate Carrot Cake Ingredients

4 Eggs 1 1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla 1/4 c Cocoa
1/3 c Oil 2 ts Baking soda
1 c Applesauce 1 ts Salt
2 c Shredded carrots (about 3) 1 ts Cinnamon
2 c Flour

From: FSelkovits@aol.com Date: Mon, 6 Nov 1995 18:49:31 GMT The recipes Ive seen use applesauce to replace most but not all of the oil in a standard recipe. This is a flavorful and moist chocolate cake. Mix eggs, vanilla, oil, and applesauce together until well blended. Combine the dry ingredients and add to the egg mixture. Beat for another 2 minutes. Stir in the carrots. Pour into greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
