Peanut Brittle #2 Ingredients
2 c
Sugar
1 ts
Vanilla
1 c White
corn
syrup
1 ts
Butter
1/2 c Water
2 ts
Baking soda
1 lb Raw peanuts
Instructions for Peanut Brittle #2
Grease a large cookie sheet with butter or margarine. In a 4-quart saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup & water. Cook mixture to hard ball stage (about 7 minutes on medium heat). Add raw peanuts. Cook until golden brown. Add vanilla, butter & baking soda. Mix well. Pour into greased cookie sheet, smooth evenly & let cool. Break into pieces. MARY JACO From
