Ingredients
- 5 c Vegetable broth
- 1 pk Morninstar links, sliced
- (vegetarian sausage
- Substitute)
- 1 md Onion, chopped
- 3 Green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 Bell pepper (your choice of
- Color), diced
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1/2 ts Lemon pepper (or, some black
- Pepper & a dash of lemon
- Juice, I suppose)
- 1 Thinly sliced serrano chilis
- (or more, or another
- Variety, if you
- Like)
- 1 c Small shell pasta
- 1 c Frozen peas
Preparation
1. In a large pot, combine veg broth, links, onion, green onion, bell pepper, bay leaves, lemon pepper, and serranos. Simmer for 20 minutes. 2. Add pasta shells and simmer another 7 to 9 minutes, until cooked tender. 3. Add peas and heat to warm. Ladle into bowls and serve.
