Baked Halibut with Herbed Dressing and Egg Mustard Sauce Ingredients
2 c Dried
bread crumbs
1/2 c Chopped
onion
1/4 c Chopped
parsley
3/4 c Chopped
celery
1 ts
Salt
2 tb
Vinegar
1/8 ts
Pepper
2 tb Water
1/2 ts
Sage
EGG
MUSTARD
SAUCE
1/2 ts
Rosemary
2 sl Lean
bacon
1/4 c
Butter
1 Thick halibut
steak
(2 lb)
Instructions for Baked Halibut with Herbed Dressing and Egg Mustard Sauce
Combine bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, sage & rosemary: set aside. Melt butter; add onion & celery, sauteeing until tender. Add vinegar & water; heat. Pour liquid over bread crumbs & toss lightly. Place mixture in bottom of greased baking dish; place fish on dressing & top with bacon. Bake, uncovered, in 350 oven for 40 minutes.
